This is the simple rustic wedding of Becca and Rich at South Farm in Cambridgeshire.
This is a blog post that is way over due, but having being reminded about this sweet down to earth wedding recently I realised that I hadn’t shown you a decent amount of photos from Becca and Rich’s day. So apologies and here they are… Becca and I met at the National Vintage Wedding Fair in Chiswick London. It is a great fair if you’re looking for alternative wedding inspiration and all things vintage wedding inspired.
Becca and Rich live in North London, but being the well traveled pair that they are became engaged on a boat in Vietnam!
Due to there busy and hectic working lives in London they wanted a wedding day which was relaxed; full of fun; with a friendly homespun atmosphere. Finding a wedding venue that could give them that was high on there priorities. They found South Farm which is nestled in the beautiful Cambridgeshire country side a short drive from London and absolutely perfect for a rustic wedding set in the gorgeous English countryside. The farm, if you time it right, even comes with the tiniest micro piglets! They achieved there dream, creating a laid back day with a slightly hippyish, rustic vibe with plenty of homemade details. There bridesmaids and best men all wore different outfits, they chose dried rustic flowers, had the ceremony outside in the lush green gardens and friends and family got involved with playing music, cake making, making a photo booth, camping and growing flowers for the table decorations. A few lucky guest even got to glamp, in one of the farms cute little gypsey caravan! A perfect rustic wedding!
