The Aviary Spring/ Summer look-book shoot seems like many moons ago now. It was such a privilege to work for Victoria from The Aviary on this project and with a great team that bought it all together.
Exquisite, delicately hand drawn illustrations are the base for Victorias work. She finds ” beauty in the everyday, she fills her ‘aviary” with beautiful illustrated items inspired by nature and found objects.” If your not familiar with The Aviary, please do go and spend some time taking a look around her site HERE!
The shoot took place in April this year, and we were blessed with a crisp foggy morning. Which was just perfect. The brilliant florist, Gayle from Bloomin Gayle’s, made the simple crowns from ferns, lichen, corn and seedpods. Perfectly coordinating with the product range. Wonderful Ellie from The Beauty Aisle, was the make-up artist. Ellie is a master at gorgeous understated and natural make up. Always a pleasure to work with.
The Aviary ‘nature girls’ themselves were Natasha, Lucia and Edie, who were terrific. Patiently modelling for us, there was allot of standing around in the cold. Thank you, stars each one of you. x
A little behind the scenes film was made of the day, by Edie’s mum, Hope. If you would like to view it Please click HERE!
If you looking for hand made gifts for Christmas, The Aviary will be at the Etsy pop up fair in London from the 5th-7th December. There is a link HERE! With all the details.
