A Glevering Estate Marquee Wedding in Suffolk – Milly & Jack
Some weddings just feel like home. The kind where nothing is forced, everything is felt, and the people matter more than the details, even though the details are very, very good. Milly and Jack’s wedding was one of those days. Warm, funny, deeply personal, and an utter joy to photograph from start to finish.
From New York Planning to a Suffolk Celebration
Now living and working in New York, Milly and Jack planned their wedding from across the pond with the help of Event Curation by Victoria, who brought their vision together so effortlessly. Despite the distance, the day felt incredibly grounded — rooted in family, heritage, and the place Milly calls home.
The wedding took place in Suffolk, where Milly grew up, and there was something really special about bringing everyone back there to celebrate. It wasn’t about impressing; it was about connection, and you could feel that all day long.

A Church Blessing, Double Decker Buses & a Vintage Land Rover
After a heartfelt church blessing, guests climbed aboard double decker buses to make their way to Glevering Estate, where the party was waiting. But before heading straight there, we took a little detour.
Milly and Jack jumped into her dad’s vintage Land Rover and slipped away for some portraits — just the two of them, a quiet moment to breathe it all in. It felt very them. Unrushed, relaxed, and full of that just-married glow, before rolling on to the celebrations.

The marquee at Glevering Estate was beautifully decorated — light-filled, elegant, and still completely unpretentious. Flowers by local florist The Meadow Patch brought the whole space to life, with soft, natural arrangements that perfectly suited the setting and season.
This was a marquee wedding done right — thoughtful styling without losing that laid-back, everyone-welcome feel. The kind of space where laughter carries and people stay long after the speeches are done.

Family, Laughter & One Legendary Speech
Milly is the middle daughter, sandwiched between two brothers, and their tight bond was woven through the entire day. You could see it in the hugs, the glances, and especially during the speeches.
Her younger brother delivered an exceptional roast — sharp, hilarious, and full of love — before finishing with a sung sign-off alongside Milly’s best friend and head bridesmaid. It was one of those moments where the room just erupts. Tears, laughter, disbelief. Impossible to top.
A Nod to Heritage & One Incredible Party
As the evening kicked off, a traditional Irish folk band took over — a beautiful nod to Jack’s heritage and family. The music filled the marquee, the dance floor filled instantly, and from there the night only gathered momentum.
Milly wore a stunning Halfpenny London dress paired with green Jimmy Choo heels she’d bought in New York — effortlessly stylish, personal, and so her. No costume, no pretending. Just Milly.
And party they did. The kind of wedding where the dance floor never really empties, conversations spill into the early hours, and no one wants the night to end. They celebrated well into the small hours, surrounded by people who adore them — and it was an absolute privilege to capture.

An Utter Joy to Photograph
Milly and Jack didn’t just plan a wedding, they hosted a celebration that reflected exactly who they are. Kind, grounded, quietly cool, and completely in love.
