Holland Park Wedding at The Belvedere
Not all weddings are defined by a single moment; some unfold as an atmosphere, building quietly before erupting into pure celebration. Saba and Bardia’s wedding at The Belvedere in Holland Park was exactly that. Beginning with an intimate Chelsea Town Hall ceremony and evolving into an energetic evening surrounded by music, movement, and heritage, their day blended modern London elegance with the richness of an Iranian celebration. This Holland Park wedding was effortless, emotive, and alive from start to finish.
Chelsea Town Hall Wedding
An Intimate London Ceremony with Timeless Style
The day began with a small, intimate ceremony at Chelsea Town Hall, one of London’s most iconic wedding venues.
Saba’s look was modern and refined, while Bardia’s tailoring echoed the same quiet confidence. The ceremony felt calm, personal, and deeply intentional.
It felt especially meaningful to photograph this wedding, having photographed one of Saba’s close friends’ weddings a few years earlier, an intimate London celebration at the Royal Automobile Club. Returning to document another chapter within the same circle added a beautiful sense of continuity and trust.

Wedding at The Belvedere, Holland Park
A London Venue with Old-World Romance
After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Belvedere Restaurant in Holland Park, one of London’s most atmospheric wedding venues. Tucked inside the park, it offers a rare sense of escape, elegant, romantic, and quietly grand.
As the light softened and the evening began, the space transformed. Candlelight, laughter, and anticipation filled the room, the unmistakable feeling that something special was about to unfold.
For couples planning a Holland Park wedding, The Belvedere is a venue that balances refinement with warmth, making it ideal for both intimate gatherings and energetic celebrations.
An Iranian Wedding Celebration
Music, Movement & Pure Energy
As the night progressed, the celebration truly came alive.
Saba and Bardia’s Iranian heritage took centre stage as traditional Iranian music filled the room. The dance floor became the heart of the evening, vibrant, joyful, and completely magnetic.
This was a party in the truest sense: expressive, emotional, and full of life. The energy was contagious, and The Belvedere felt as though it was pulsing with movement and sound well into the night.
Documentary Wedding Photography at Holland Park
Editorial Storytelling with Soul
Inspired by an editorial yet emotive approach to wedding photography, my focus was on capturing the day as it naturally unfolded, elevated, honest, and deeply human.
From the quiet moments at Chelsea Town Hall to the electric atmosphere of the Holland Park wedding reception at The Belvedere, Saba and Bardia’s day was a perfect reflection of how tradition, style, and feeling can exist seamlessly together.
