Wedding at The Ned, London – Harriette & Matt
Harriette and Matt’s wedding at The Ned in London was modern, relaxed, and full of personality. From a low-key ceremony to a city journey in between, their day felt effortlessly cool, proof that a London wedding doesn’t need to be overproduced to be unforgettable.
Ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall
The day began at Marylebone Town Hall, where Harriette and Matt exchanged vows in a simple, intimate ceremony. The focus was on the moment itself—no fuss, no extras—before heading into the city for the celebration at The Ned.
Taking the Tube Through London
Instead of cars or taxis, Harriette and Matt jumped on the Tube between the ceremony and the reception. This part of the day became one of the strongest visual narratives, natural, unscripted, and full of movement, a particular favourite image being the workmen in high vis giving a thumbs up. Proof that not all wedding photos need to look like a perfume advert!
The underground journey offered the kind of moments that sit somewhere between documentary wedding photography and street photography: real interactions, London energy, and a sense of place that couldn’t be staged.

A Wedding Reception at The Ned
Set in the former Midland Bank building, The Ned is one of London’s most iconic wedding venues. Its mix of historic architecture, rich textures, and buzzing atmosphere made it the perfect backdrop for Harriette and Matt’s reception.
A wedding at The Ned feels elevated without being stiff. The day moved at its own pace, full of real laughter, conversations, and joy. We captured group photos on the terrace, with St Paul’s Cathedral in the background, making for iconic London wedding portraits.
Wedding photography at The Ned doesn’t need to be overproduced. It can be stylish while still reflecting who you are and the real moments of your wedding day.
Digital and Film Wedding Photography
Harriette and Matt’s wedding was photographed on both digital and film, allowing for a blend of crisp storytelling and softer, timeless frames. Film worked especially beautifully at The Ned, capturing the depth, warmth, and character of the interiors in a way that feels honest and tactile.
