Wedding at Western Laundry: Maria & Anant
I spent two days with Maria and Anant over the summer. The first was their legal ceremony in the Marylebone Room at Marylebone Town Hall, attended by just their parents. Quiet, intimate, and entirely focused on them.
The second day was a different energy entirely. I met them at their beautiful Islington home before walking over to their reception at Western Laundry—a space full of personality, light, and bold choices.

Style and Atmosphere
Western Laundry felt effortlessly stylish. The floral styling was incredible: dahlias, hot clashing blooms, vibrant and unexpected. The food was equally impressive, bold, inventive, and perfectly in step with the feel of the day.
Maria changed outfits for each event. For the Marylebone ceremony, her look was refined and understated, fitting the quiet elegance of the room. For the reception, she wore a white pant suit designed by a dear friend, confident, modern, and entirely her own. Bold, joyful, and unapologetically stylish—just like the day itself.
A Laidback London Wedding
The day moved at its own pace. Friends and family relaxed into the space, laughing, talking, and celebrating without fuss. There was no pressure, no posing—everyone simply enjoyed being together.

Documentary Wedding Photography
Documenting Maria and Anant’s wedding was about noticing how the day unfolded: the laughter, the conversations, the bold floral arrangements, and the energy of the space. From Marylebone Town Hall to Western Laundry, from her two outfits to the vibrant reception, everything felt effortless, colorful, and alive.
This was a wedding rooted in personality and style, captured in a way that reflected the day itself: relaxed, vibrant, and full of life.
