WHAT DEFINES YOUR STYLE AND APPROACH TO WEDDINGS|
BluBelle Creative’s style is very natural, loose and vintage inspired, we’re informed by the season’s and use British or homegrown flowers whenever feasible. Everything we do is bespoke and designed specifically for each client’s need and wishes, no two weddings are very the same and with our background in design and styling we love producing not only the flowers but combining it with the venue dressing too to ensure the look or theme the client is going for is delivered on all accounts and their wedding looks amazing!
WHAT TIPS DO YOU HAVE FOR COUPLES ON THE PLANNING PROCESS?
I would aways advise couples to book as far in advance as they possibly can, particularly if they have a favourite, florist, photographer or venue in mind, our diary gets booked up a year to two years in advance and I always feel personal disappointment when we can’t accommodate a couple.
It also makes it less stressful for them if they book suppliers who can do two things in one such as the flowers and venue styling it’s a big tick in their box and they can relax and enjoy the run up to their big day rather than fretting over all the details and having to manage a large number of suppliers.
HAVE YOU NOTICED ANY PARTICULAR TRENDS IN WEDDINGS FOR 2016?
The the big trend for flowers is still very much natural, loose, seasonal blooms and foliage rather than anything too contrived and we’ve definitely noticed a trend for some more unusual items such as suspended flowers or flowers hanging from the ceiling which is great for us as we love trying new things, for styling ‘rodeo lights’ are still very much on tend as are ‘naked’ cake’s, layered victoria sponges that we add the finishing floral touches to that really makes the wedding cake come alive!
