Fitzrovia Chapel Wedding | Old School Glamour in London
Some weddings just feel different. Slower. Cinematic. Like you’ve stepped into another era. Claudia and Ash’s Fitzrovia Chapel wedding was one of those days – full of old school glamour, beautiful light, and a real sense of calm from start to finish.
From getting ready at the iconic Kimpton Fitzroy to portraits bathed in pockets of London light, this day was timeless in the best possible way.
Getting Ready at The Kimpton Fitzroy
Claudia and Ash both got ready at the Kimpton Fitzroy, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better setting for the tone of the day. The building itself has that grand, old-world elegance – tall ceilings, soft window light, and just enough drama without trying too hard.
Ash looked like he’d stepped straight off the set of an old school Hollywood film. A white tux, black tie, polished shoes – classic, confident, and effortlessly cool. No fuss. No overthinking. Just timeless style done properly.
Claudia was equally cinematic. She wore a lace Enzoani dress that felt romantic and elegant without being overwhelming. The lace caught the light beautifully, and paired with her relaxed, natural energy, she looked incredible. Calm, present, and totally herself.

A Fitzrovia Chapel Wedding Ceremony

The Fitzrovia Chapel is one of London’s hidden gems. Tucked away from the noise of the city, it feels intimate and sacred the moment you step inside. The gold detailing, rich colours, and soft glow make it an incredible space for a wedding ceremony.
Claudia and Ash’s ceremony was simple and meaningful. No distractions. Just them, their people, and a space that doesn’t need dressing up. The chapel speaks for itself – and for photography, it’s an absolute dream.
If you’re planning a Fitzrovia Chapel wedding, this is one of those venues that proves less really is more.

Wedding Portraits Around Fitzrovia
After the ceremony, we took a gentle wander around Fitzrovia, stopping wherever the light felt good. No rigid plan, no forced posing – just letting the city give us what it wanted to give.
There are so many little pockets of light around the chapel and nearby streets. Quiet corners, soft reflections, moments where London suddenly feels still. Claudia and Ash were completely at ease, which meant their portraits felt natural, stylish, and unposed.
This is one of my favourite ways to work – letting couples breathe, chat, and just be together while I quietly document it all.
Confetti on the Steps of The Kimpton Fitzroy
We finished with confetti on the steps of the Kimpton Fitzroy – the perfect full-circle moment. Guests gathered, laughter echoed down the street, and the whole thing felt celebratory without being chaotic.
Against the grand backdrop of the hotel, it was pure old school glamour. Joyful, elegant, and completely timeless.

An Old School Glamour London Wedding
Claudia and Ash’s Fitzrovia Chapel wedding was proof that you don’t need excess to make something unforgettable. Strong style choices, meaningful locations, and space to actually enjoy the day – that’s where the magic lives.
If you’re planning a Fitzrovia Chapel wedding and want photography that feels relaxed, cinematic, and real, I’d love to hear from you.
